WHY WE EXIST
Each year, Sozo serves thousands of youth and families across the Yakima Valley. Participation remains strong because families trust the environment, the coaches, and the values that guide the work.
Our impact isn’t measured only by standings or scores. It’s measured by confidence built, habits formed, and relationships that last well beyond the season.
BUILDING BETTER HUMANS.
- Young athletes learn accountability and teamwork
- Coaches serve as mentors and role models
- Kids experience structure, consistency, and belonging
- Families stay connected through shared experience

BARRIERS TO ACCESS
While outdoor facilities operate at or near capacity during much of the year, winter weather and limited indoor access reduce participation during months when structure and connection matter most.
Removing this barrier — while keeping access affordable — is central to Sozo's long-term planning.
